Hi all:
Just purchsed a 993 with 105k miles. My clutch runs fine thru most of the entire RPM range with one exception. When Im in any gear (especially 6th) and drop the throttle pedal, the car RPMs approach 6k with no acceleration. Immediately when this happens I let off the throttle assuming that my clutch is slipping and its on its last legs.
I found on pelican general DIY instructions to replace clutch which involves removing the engine. Does anyone know if there exists more detailed instructions specifically for the 993?
Im not concerned about dropping the engine becausce I would be able to easily replace other worn components easily (plugs wires etc). Any thoughts?
