Man, what's up with IndyLaw/Whirlwind? First he's pushy on the S-02/S-03 thread, then erases a burst of four posts at the end of the thread, then changes his handle to Whirlwind? Is there a backstory there, or just what you see on the thread?
It'd be nice if he just realized what an ass he was being, but I'm not holding out much hope it'll also turn around all the other.... 'people' who need the attitude adjustment as well.

IndyLaw/Whirlwind is nothing more than a chicken who cannot stand apologies. He apologized in public and went on deleting his own post. Then he changes his user name thinking that he cannot be recognized again. What a dope.
From Rennlist (now deleted):
Viken says:
I am tired of posted information which appears to be less valuable to the majority on this board lately
Then quotes me:
Thank you for joining the fray 103 times. You never answered my question in the prior 103 posts that I could find...
My point was:
I tried the search – I’m sorry, but I couldn’t find what I was looking for. Apparently I upset Viken, because he responded:
It is exactly because of people like you that I have refrained from posting as much as I used to, lately. This thread just confirms that I should stop wasting my time here altogether.
Sensing that this was getting personal (unintentionally), I did in fact send him an e-mail because I felt it wasn’t important to the other 10,000 members.
I sent that e-mail at 14:01 today. It took an incredible 17 minutes for the memo to be received, read, forwarded, received, re-read, and commented on in this thread.
E.J. noted that:
I would want to leave too. And these are the people that supposedly just want help.
My query: Does this look like help? What was my crime? 1) I asked a question 2) I pointed out that I did in fact do the searches 3) I took a private issue private.
Point out where I went wrong, and I will surely change my ways.
Thank you to all, and my apologies to all – Including especially Mr. Viken, and Mr. E.J. My offense was unintentional, and I regret any escalation.

Hey Robert,
Why even bother anymore. There are plenty of other places to hang out. The quality over there has hit rock bottom. To be honest, I don't blame Viken for leaving the 993 board (he really has), it is now just a bunch of amateurs posing as experts.

Any place particular the A-list has migrated to? I don't know of a place myself but I'm not looking either. I just realized I am better off spending less time on any board.

Any place particular the A-list has migrated to? Come to think of it, what's wrong with this site? I'm sure we can bring a handful of quality folks here.

I don't know of a place myself but I'm not looking either. I just realized I am better off spending less time on any board. Man, you've got that right! I'm more than a little embarrassed when I think about all I could be accomplishing with the time I spend staring into my computer screen.

Lets get this board rolling again. When Robin started it, it was pretty good.

Rennlist is good and John & Jen are the best but there are a lot of flaky types logging in. Lets see if we can get back more of the good guys and get this oard rolling! If you really want to get bored go visit CFG's board!
All the best!

Indylaw/Whirlwind cracks me up; I talked to him before he bought the 993 in Texas - I told him the most important thing is to get a good PPI. His response? "Oh, that's OK - I'm a really good judge of cars." 4 days after gettting the car home, he posting questions on where to get a clutch installed.
