After CFG made that stupid threat about kicking people off because of what they say on othr boards, I went looking. I found it. Craig - I agree with everything you said about CFG and his Lapdogs (especially SRS).
I only go over there because it is so hostile that it is fun. It is extra funny cuz CFG and his lapdogs think it is such a great community. HA.
So CFG, I have posted what I think of you, your little dictatorship and your lapdogs. I dare you to block me from Funcars like you did Craig. Even if you do, they will know it here and he word will spread. You can keep me off your board but you can't keep the truth about it from spreading.

Why does the truth really matter? If the shoe fits, wear it! If you have deputies running the place that can't be trusted with the job, he should take their badge away LOL
Like I said before, if they want to play games with us, let the games begin.
Steve told me I'm not really his friend and cussed me out by email. That's no way for a deputy to act. He acts like it's a big deal to be a deputy on that board. I have one thing to tell him, get a life loser! SRS needs to grow the fuck up in my opinion. I never was rude on CFG's board, but SRS felt the need to try and tell me how to run my life. This is America, you should be able to speak your mind. It's like I'm back in junior high again and the teacher is sending me to the principal. What a joke!

Well, it's looks like they're having some kind of a problem on CFG's board. You can't post until further notice. For some reason, serious driver has managed to shut the boards down over there.
Rob showed up out of nowhere . I don't think CFG has the knowledge to do anything on his own.
It's funny, his deputies started all the problems. Now, he doesn't know what to do.

For once, I agree with Pete. Here's what Pete had to say.

To take your analogy and run with it...
It's like you are having a party in your living room but you need to leave for a while and you ask two of your friends to make sure that everyone follows your rules.
When you're gone, one of your friends gathers everyone's attention, the party quiets down, and he explains "the rules."
No swearing, no personal attacks, sharing opinions is fine but let's be civil.
The party resumes and soon thereafter the friend that made the announcement starts swearing in a few of the conversations that he is having. People in the family room are confused. Didn't he just state what the rules are?
A lively conversation develops and then another friend shuts it off. Nobody was swearing, nobody was making a personal attack, nothing.
A few of the people at the party ask friend number one why the conversation was banned. He cops out, while swearing again, and claims that he didn't do it and besides he doesn't owe an explanation to anybody, even though no rules have been broken.
Friend number two finally pops his head up, personally attacks one of the guests that has been asking why the conversation was banned, and then reiterates that he is a "FRIEND" (deputy) and therefore doesn't owe anyone any type of explanation.
Finally, Friend number two is shamed into admitting that he banned the conversations because he is so inept that he couldn't figure out how to ban one part that he felt was against the rules. Friend two gets so bent out of shape that he sends a truly disturbed email to one of the folks in the family room.
Some folks at the party start tossing around the idea that maybe Chris should leave some different people in charge the next time he leaves. This prompts friend one to send a very bizzarre email to one of the people that thinks he can't be relied on to watch the living room. That guest posts the message for all to see how truly strange one of the "friends" is. At this point, maybe that guest was locked out. None of the guest know the truth.
The problem that you are facing is that a few of the deputies ("friends") that you have chosen have proven, time and again, that they lack the intelligence, maturity, and thick skin that is neccessary to moderate a forum of this nature.
Unfortunately for you, their displays of pettiness and insecurity have been public and their actions have fouled your living room.
It's kind of ironic that the folks that were supposed to watch over the party while you are away are the ones who pissed all over the furniture.
Hopefully you can find a way to get the smell out.

I never said the deputies were paid. I did say, they gave CFG sponsor money, so he in turn gave them deputy status. There were only 2 of them that couldn't control themselves. The power got to SRS's head, and all of a sudden he felt like a big shot. This blew up in his face. CFG's mistake was to put childish people in charge of his little empire. SRS doesn't know how to say he was sorry for all the trouble he caused.
before this board (remember it is supposed to be a 911 Turbo board) turned totally into a battlefield. We are presently checking some options. But more important than this I would like all of you to think about what we have here or what we want to have. Our intention was allways to create a nice atmosphere. The deputy system was installed to help in gaining that. This is a no pay job for all of us - no matter what people think or tell. We need it because I think the WEBBS has the nicest format in my opinion and a full registry requires a total change of the software. On the other hand I am getting tired of fighting with people who cannot behave and run around just to make our life tougher than it already is.
This is just a car board. Please try to avoid public fights.

I think CFG will lose his sponsors if he only lets the chosen few on his boards. He said before, he doesn't care about traffic. I wonder if he cares about sponsors money? I guess, time will tell.
you guys hide behind an IP address and a screen. This ruins the atmosphrere that we were able to create and maintain here for more than 2 years. I can fully understand why RC has chosen a software that can easily block any account without big discussion - even though the format of WEBBS is preferrable. I have choosen to stay with WEBBS as long as possible but that may have been a big mistake. I allways saw this board like part of my house where everyone is welcome as long as he/she bahaved like a guest in my house - just as in real life. But this does not seem to work so the door has to be shut and only wil be opened after invitation or after application (ringing the bell and ask to come in).

See my post on the turbo board. All they have to do is agree to one final post from me - no attacks, profanity, etc. Just the truth, as I see it.
I think I have made my points about that place. I can either summarize those in CFG's living room, or he can delcare all out war. CFG gets to decide if he wants a peaceful place or a battlefield. Text below in case his response is to delete:
I will make one more post, if that is OK with CFG. It will have no attacks, no profanity, etc. Only my explaination of why I posted, some facts about the feedback I got and some comments about this community. You agree to leave that post up for all to see and comment on.
Let me know via response to this post, if that is acceptable. If so, I will make no more posts, nor any responses after that one single post.

CFG will not accept my truce. The only reason I can win over there is because the place is mean-spirited. They encourage abusive posts - that is the only way CFG can maintain his control over that board - he needs abuse - he needs people to ban.
Right now, I sense that the sentiment is beginning to turn in his favor, so I am gone. But since he declined my offer, I will be back. I just need for that board to revert to it's hostile, true personality.
They are afraid of me, becasue they know they can not block my posts. In my exchange with Petey, each post came from a different IP address, jumping all over the world. After that, I used a single address in Europe - just begging to be blocked. I can jump around as fast as I want to.
CFG in his ignorance declined my offer, so I will wait until it turns ugly ove there and will then return. Anybody want to bet how long that will take?

I really hope CFG uses vBulletin. It is my favorite. Not only are there security holes you can drive a truck through, it has a great feature set.

Dictators need enemies to keep the focus away from what they are doing.

seriousdriver even points out the need to lock down the board.
