I have a 96-993, and When I shut her down the engine cooling fan runs. I know it should do this for a little while, but sometimes it will not cut off and runs the battery down. If I pull and replace the fuse in the trunk it will shut the fan down. I feel uncomfortable leaving car now, wondering if it will be dead when I return.
;)Thanks for your help and ideas.... aandsu

I had the same problem, you need to change the temperature sensor switch. My mechanic reckoned that the wires were crossed and caused the switch to read 200 degrees.....I'd like to know if you have the same issue.
Dude change the temp. switch, I'm sure this will cure the problem.
