Congrats. I know the feeling. I could not believe I finally owned one after wanting one for so long. Enjoy it in good health. Now you'll have to come up with silly excuses to go into the garage an drool over it. The first night I went to the garage 4 consecutive times for the following reasons(no kidding): 1. Check the fuse box.
2. Check the garage door and make sure it is securely lowered. 3. I think I heard a noise.
4. I forgot the purchase agreement in the car.
Keep it at or above 3,000 RPM and hit 6,000 RPM at least once everytime you drive it once it's fully warm and it'll run like a dream.

Have a grand time. Congratulations. However, be careful because you have a street rocket and people are gonna look at you differently, especially the local police. This isn't some little Toyota that you can zip in and out of traffic (apologies to the T car...) My point is, I have found that people look at you differently and sometimes don't pay attention and drift into you or want to challenge you for that open space. It's a little crazy. This note is not meant to be a downer. Just a reminder to be vigilant. Pay attention! Then you can have fun. Trust me, you will get what I'm trying to say later.

Ps: I've had my C4S for three years and am having a ball. I've been told that it will do 170MPH.

I have a freeway close to my house that runs downhill for about 4.5 miles. I did 182 mph in my old 1990 C2 Coupe. I purchased a 97 993 convertible and I did 172 going down that same hill- could of gone faster but I was afraid of the top flying off. I find it pleasing to go fast enough to see the dots on the road become 1 lit line. The car itself runs so great at those speeds that changing lanes while smoking a cigarette while screaming at 180+ seems effortless.
One last thing, make sure that the tire pressure on the 18 in. hollow turbo wheels are at 36 front and 44 rear. Those are the factory specs and the car feels much better like that. Check your tires
