Ok I am ready to take the plunge and buy a preformance chip for my 95 cab with Trip. I have looked at power chip, weltmeister, authority, etc... Does any one have any experience with any of these and what was the cost. I am leaning toward weltmeister pretty much because of the name and cost factor. Feedback is highly requested.
Thanks
Sam

I have chiped my 95 with Rennsport. The mapping is fine and the price was $475 if I remember. It was 2 yrs ago. It does make some difference but there is no kick in the pants. I would do it to my 96 4s if I could. I am not familliar with your potentials, Rennsport has a great name. SM

I put a rennsport in my 95 cab. Definitely a noticeable improvement especially between 6 & 7k RPMS . A must do for 500 bucks.
Then get a decent exhaust!!!! ;

You should also look at FVD, GIAC, Protomotive and Guenther @ Gemballa. Guenther is probably the best with GIAC running second. These guys usually chip tune turbocharged cars for a LOT of money, but just about everyone has a chip for a specific application that they did at one time. You just need to mention all of the modifications that you've performed and they can look around for a similar tuning map.
