I'm new to the site but have enjoyed reading everyones' discussions. Now I have a question.
I have a '96 993 Cab. I took it for a short drive (40 mins) this weekend. When I returned to my garage and turned the ignition off there was a "buzzing" (a constant noise like fan going) from the dash - sound came from behind the thermostat controls.
I didn't want the "buzz" drawing on the battery all week (I only drive the car on weekends) so I pulled Fuse #1, Dash Blower or something like that. Once I pulled the fuse the sound went away.
Anyone have a similar experience or any diagnosis?

These is a small fan located at the rear of your climate controls. These fans stay on for a short period after you turn of your car and they can "go noisey". It can be replaced by you mechanic.
