that all this horseshit was going on... Man I really feel like a loser. I haven't been involved in any flame wars, haven't been banned from any boards, havn't had my manhood called into question. I guess I better get started on that life I've been threatening to get.
So, here goes:
Whats up with all you assholes and your coupes? Real men drive targas....we're stiff enough without worrying about chassis flex.

This all just a way to drive business to your coupes-only muffler business, isn't it?

Whats up with all you assholes and your coupes? Real men drive targas....we're stiff enough without worrying about chassis flex. Here - let me try this one..... Yea - I drive a coupe - as I am secure in my manhood. I don't need a "flexible flyer" to remind me I can be "stiff enough" when the situation demands... Seems to me Targa owners need a bit more reminding of their capabilities - every time they step into their car. I don't...

The very best P-car driver in the world, in a shiny new 996TT, documented on video eating up and spitting out Ferraris left and right can't even go around Laguna Seca as fast as a stock Miata. What does that say about P-cars?

I think that if he was driving a Targa, then he would've smoked the damned mazda!

I have a sawsall and would be happy to turn his car into a Targa. You just get him to meet me at the track and race my Miata - I'll make it Miata vs. Targa.

I have a sawsall and would be happy to turn his car into a Targa.. Just leave it stiff enough so that the average Targa driver feels at home. A "support bar" would be a good idea to leave in place - just in case the body feels a little soft - if you catch my drift....
