Have been working with Gert on getting an upgrade to my hand brake. We need the vehicle paint and Interior Codes interpreted that I found under the trunk of the vehicle. It is a 1998 Cab 993 and has the Paint/Int code of L92U/MB. Also the last line of the options codes are 9981, 09991, and 17641. I have already tried the m and x codes and a couple of decoders and am not having any luck except on the paint code which comes out to a Artic Silver Metallic and the 9981, 09991 which is "mfg under the exclusive program". As to the "MB" interior code and the "17641", I come up zip, nada, nothing! Any help out there? I sent in for my Kardex from Porsche but that is going to take two months to get back and I am not even sure that will tell me what I need to know.

What color is your interior? If it is all dark blue, it could be Midnight Blue. If it is two-tone, it could be Marble Grey/Midnight Blue or Marble Grey/Black.
As to those numbers, no one knows what they mean. They are your Exclusive options. You may try calling PCNA for those but I wouldn't bet on an answer.

;DThanks, I am now a step closer. One of our "owners" Richard Sloan was able to shed some light on the subject. It appears that the last line of the option codes under the bonnet lid of the trunk had a four and five digit number that he was able to decode as specific options packages thereby clearing up a lot of confusion. As far as the interior color, it is a reddish brown color leather and I am leaning towards the "chestnut" interior color that was available for the 1998. Thanks for your comment.
